Q. What is One In A Million and how is it related to The Driving Kenya Foundation?

A. One In A Million is the fundraising platform of the Driving Kenya Foundation. The DKF is a charitable organization registered under the Laws of Kenya. Visit One In A Million and Driving Kenya Foundation for detailed information.

Q. Where did the Foundation's money come from?

A. The funds are from individual members and corporate organizations. At a later date we will be expecting income from commercial activities.

Q. How will the money be spent?

A. The money will be spent for activities which will directly work towards the achievements of the ten objectives outlined in the One In a million website and also in details in the Driving Kenya Foundation site.

Q. How do you decide which activity to fund and support?

A. We will identify the projects through our membership. On registration each member is asked their preference areas of concern. The area with utmost and urgent need will be tackled first. We will also expect input from our members and with research we will identify the most urgent projects.

Q. Can anyone apply for grants from the Foundation?

A. You can identify areas of concern by sending us email. However the decision to fund any project remains with the Advisory Board of Driving Kenya Foundation which is the final decision maker. The Foundation will not be accepting general requests for funding from individuals. However the Foundation can look into proposals from groups who can show the viability of their ongoing project.

A. Esther Passaris is the Founder of Driving Kenya Foundation. However the Foundationis an indepenet registered under the Kenya Laws as a charitable organization. The foundation is run by an Advisory Board and

A. Yes just visit the fundraising website for the foundation at One In A Million, register and donate. Your donations will be used for the different initiatives undertaken by the Foundation unless a donor specifies an ongoing project.
