Every day, women around the world living on less than $1 a day combine creativity, ingenuity and hard work to make ends meet. To support these women and their families, Grameen Foundation works to improve access to information, technology and capital for microloans in the poorest regions of the world. The Foundation's newest initiative, the Ingenuity Fund, is an online fundraising campaign to create a community of online advocates and funders, with the ultimate goal of making measurable progress to enable the poor, especially the poorest, to create a world without poverty. As you may know, I'm very passionate about this issue and now I have the chance to witness Grameen Foundation's work in action. I've set up a fundraising page for this effort, and am working to gather support from friends and family to help Grameen Foundation create economic opportunities for women living in poverty. If my page gathers enough support, I'll also have the chance to visit one of Grameen Foundation's on-the-ground sites to see how they deliver microfinance and technology to poor women around the world.
